UEFA Champions League 2020 & UEFA Europa League 2020 remaining EPL fixtures

The Premier League 2019-20 season is nearing it's conclusion after an enforce 3 month break due to the COVID-19 outbreak but that doesn't mean the football involving EPL teams stops.

We still have Europes biggest competitions the UEFA Champions League & UEFA Europa League 2020 left to play albeit in different times & formats than we're used to. Here's all the information you need to follow your EPL team in Europe.

UEFA Champions League 2020 Schedule

All the major European leagues have now restarted or concluded but there's still Europes biggest prize the UEFA Champions League left to play for!

Manchester City & Chelsea are the only remaining EPL teams left in the UEFA Champions League 2020 and both teams have tough matches in their Round of 16 2nd leg matches with Chelsea playing Bayern Munchen and trailing 3-0 from the 1st leg and Manchester City playing Real Madrid with a 2-1 advantage from the 1st leg.

Should Manchester City progress to the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals they will face either Lyon or Juventus and should Chelsea progress to the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals they will face either Napoli or Barcelona. Both teams have hit some good end of season form so anything is possible.

UEFA recently announced that the conclusion of the UEFA Champions League 2020 Schedule will be played as a straight knockout tournament in Lisbon, Portugal in August. Provisional schedule looks like this:

  • 12-15 August: Quarter-finals (Lisbon)
  • 18-19 August: Semi-finals (Lisbon)
  • 23 August: Final (Estádio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica, Lisbon)

UEFA Europa League 2020 Schedule

Europes second biggest prize the UEFA Europa League is also waiting to conclude with the next round of matches being the Round of 16 2nd leg matches.

Manchester United & Wolves are the remaining EPL teams left in the UEFA Europa League 2020 and both teams will fancy their chances to progress to the next round.

Wolves could potentially face a tough quarter-final match against either Roma or Sevilla whereas Manchester United could face İstanbul Başakşehir or Copenhagen if they were to progress to the UEFA Europa League quarter-finals.

As with the UEFA Champions League the UEFA Europe League 2020 quarter-finals, semi-finals & finals will all be held in a single location, Germany, provisional schedule is:

  • 10–11 August: Quarter-finals (Cologne, Duisburg, Düsseldorf, Gelsenkirchen)
  • 16–17 August: Semi-finals (venues to be confirmed)
  • 21 August: Final (Cologne)
